sew her style...

My youngest, Julianna, knows what she likes. She's not a girlie girl. She won't be swayed. An example of this was swimsuit shopping. It took more than 5 hours and two countries to find the one, and believe me when we found it, I didn't even care what it cost!

Julianna has had long, thick, curly hair all her life. We tried cutting bangs once and it didn't go so well, haha.
She was my ponytail girl - every single day - until a couple weeks ago. Now, she's my beachy head girl. I love it on her, but more importantly, she loves it.
She's also loving to sew more and more these days (hmmm, I wonder where that comes from!) Between her and Emily, I never know if my sewing machine is free for ME to use!
Last weekend she whipped up this amazing messenger bag, complete with orange elephant buttons.
It's sew her own style. No pink for this girl.
I love how her style is growing stronger every day!
Now, I'd better sneak into the sewing room before the girls take over!
It's Tuesday timeout day, after all!

Sounds like you need another sewing machine or two! :)

So sweet! It really makes me think of my daughter she is very similar, no girlie girl for her. She also has curly hair that we didn't know what to do with until she discovered a flat iron. Now she has so many choices, natural curly, straight and ringlets using a curling iron she found. So much fun!! She's beautiful!!

Oh, I'm loving that short hair!! I'll bet it feels so much lighter and cooler for her. Sewing machines for Christmas??? Love the new bag she made!
