Is it sock feet weather in your neck of the woods, or are bare feet still all the rage? This morning started so fallishly... foggy and damp. The girls left for school almost an hour ago (there is a delayed start on Mondays for staff meetings and prayer time - I love that!) and since then the weather has changed completely. It's sunny and beautiful and another chance to keep the toes free. I really, really love September!
Besides bare feet in the fall, September is the start of markets for my family.
This year, I opted out of Campbell Valley's Country Celebration, even though I am a regular there. I just didn't think I could pull together a whole booth by myself. But the thing is, my girls really wanted to do a booth on their own. I'll add to it with quilts and bunting... we'll split the cost three ways and everyone's happy. So anyway, to make a long story short, they spent a lot of time through the summer sewing... and sewing, and sewing.
So even though there are A LOT of socks in my house, not many are covering feet. Well, not human feet, that is.
