pb&j at the cabin...

Are you a PB&J type?
(One of my daughters actually has a system for school lunches where a certain day of the week is designated "pb&j" sandwich day. Wouldn't be my cup of tea, but it works for her!)
How about log cabins... are you a fan of time spent away from it all in a cozy cabin?
Now, THAT would work for me!
A while ago, I took a PB&J layer cake, combined it with a sweet little green dot print for the centers, and put it all together using Trish's wonderful layer cake log cabin block tutorial. Her cutting directions worked out perfectly... I love it when that happens!
The end result? 42 wonderful 8 1/2" PB&J log cabin blocks that are now available in my etsy shop
Quilt yourself a little happy... then take it to the cabin and make a sandwich. Or some smores. Because FYI, PB on smores is fabulous. Just sayin'.

I do like the PB&J, but not sure I'd schedule it in every week. :)
