apron strings giveaway...

I've been home from the hospital for a week now and I'm bored. So bored! But I'm also thankful. So thankful! My husband and kiddos have been great... pulling up (and picking up) their socks and really pitching in. By Dr's orders, I'm not to lift, bend, stretch, carry... basically not do much of anything for a few weeks, so this Momma's apron strings have been hanging limply for days now. But somehow the meals have been made, the towels have been folded, and we've even pulled off a pool party (or two or three) with a houseful of friends. And there again, I'm thankful for the help of others.

So to celebrate "I'm thankful that the chores are getting done even though I'm not the one doing them", I thought I'd have a little GIVEAWAY... and I thought an apron would be the perfect prize!

To enter, please be (or become) a follower of my blog. Let me know that you are for one entry.

And for a second entry, let me know what the chore is that you're most happy to not have to do.

If you win, the first thing you should do is share your new apron. That way you can make the person who is doing the housework for the day a little more fun to watch!

I'll draw the winner on Monday, July 8th... good luck!

(Please make sure I can get ahold of you if your name is drawn... if you are a no-reply blogger, leave me your email with your entry!)

I follow the blog, and facebook (I'm not sure if my email is linked to this post? Here it is anyway! emmapardoe89@hotmail.com).
I love it when my husband does the washing up for me, because I don't really enjoy it, but I love it even more when he does the laundry, because I know that he doesn't like doing it, which just goes to show just how much he cares!

I am now officially a 'follower' although I regularly check your website via facebook anyways.
My least favourite chore is putting bedding back on the beds...more specially the sheets. Such a tedious & time consuming item.

I'm a follower. I hope your feeling better.

My least favorite chore would have to be washing the dishes. I just hate being alone in the kitchen while everyone else is in another room.

I'm a happy follower! Isn't it like a little vacation having all the chores done? Hope you're feeling better.

My favorite thing to get out of doing is the dishes. The dishwasher does the dishes but I really hate washing pans and will gladly let anyone do them.

Glad to hear that you're recovering Kimberly. I love the apron! I currently use bloglovin to follow your blog. My least favourite chore is probably washing floors, which only gets done maybe once a year I'm embarrassed to say. I spot clean as needed and I sweep a lot, but I HATE mopping!

I have followed your blog for quite a while. I enjoy reading it.
the chore I dislike is vaccuuming the house. The noise makes me crazy so my darling husband does the vaccuuming. would love to see him in that apron..LOL
Hope you are better soon.

I'd love for someone else to vacuum for me. Ever since my back surgery, vacuuming the whole house isn't that much fun. I can do a couple rooms at a time, but that takes a while.
