sew happy go lucky...

Our last week of Spring break brought the most amazing weather we've ever seen for the end of March. Bbqs, barefeet, badminton, shorts, and sunshine to spare! Believe me, the girls having to head back to school today was not met with happiness... and not just since it's dreary and damp out. I think all that sunshine wore them out!

Saturday found me in my sewing room (instead of outside enjoying the weather!) and by mid afternoon I had the most cheerful flimsy to smile at...
"Happy Go Lucky" is delightful and I will be buying another precut - or two - before it's too late. I'm thinking of backing this quiltie with this print by Denyse Schmidt... what do you think?
I followed this great tutorial by Cluck Cluck Sew and had a lot of fun putting it together. Happy go lucky? Yes indeed.

It's wonderful. I love the display of fabrics like that.

Very nice Kimberly! I've had that tutorial pinned for quite some time now. I'm just not one to buy jelly rolls normally. I do love the look though.

I think that fabric will be perfect for the quilt backing - what a cute project!
