let me sew, let me sew, let me sew!

Well the weather outside is frightful
But the school closure is so delightful
And since I've no place to go
Let me sew, let me sew, let me sew!

We're wearing our jammies and hoodies
And have plans to decorate goodies
The Christmas tree lights are aglow
Let me sew, let me sew, let me sew!
Even though there are presents to wrap
How I hate wasting time on that chore
I'd rather cuddle a cat on my lap
And wait for someone my coffee to pour!

Now the snowflakes are slowly dying
And my children, they soon will be crying
For tomorrow to school they'll go
Let me sew, let me sew, let me sew!

Cute!

The snowflakes are still coming down over here. And my kids are at school. So very pretty though...

17 years ago this very day I spent in labor, listening to that song....well the original version of it anyway. We teased because my baby boy was taking so long to be delivered...we thought he surely must have heard that it was cold out here and decided to stay in. (He wasn't born until 2:00 AM on the 20th. )
