a little fall color...

Today is another stunner in my little corner of the world... sunny, windy, warm, and leaf blowy... just amazing! I can handle a fall like this no problem! I heard on the radio the other day that our September was 91% dryer than normal and that the fall is likely to follow in its footsteps. I'll tell you, weather like this does make decorating for a "new" season feel a little strange, but given the wet alternative, I'll manage! The quilties and the dolls in the pics are listed in my shop, but I just couldn't stand to have them packed away in bins when they could be displayed.
(And FYI... the dolls were made by my 15 year old daughter, Emily. Who me? Proud? Oh, not much!)

Hello, you must be a proud Mama, wonderful dolls, great work. Your home looks ready for Fall now, cozy and all. We are suppose to get some white stuff here tonight, yikes, but my yard work is pretty much done. Blessings Francine.

Everything is wonderful! How great that your daughter is making dolls...I started sewing with my Grandma when I was about 10...what great memories! It's still pretty hot here...I sure hope we get some cool Fall weather soon!

Just this weekend I started decorating for my home. Last weekend felt more like fall here than this weekend (the temp went back up to 82?!). I know you are a proud Mama!! My Mother is a quilter and has just started teaching me as well. I am really looking forward to shareing this with her. Thanks for sharing your decorations - they are beautiful!
