lovely.. curlicues...

Since moving into my new sewing room last week, I've taken the time to become reacquainted with projects that were started long ago but never finished. I'm determined to make a dent! Over the last couple of days, I've quilted and finished three little projects one by one... and all because of my new sewing machine! It feels good to be working through the pile and to slowly be preparing for the upcoming Country Celebrations event in Campbell Valley. (You can see the booth I shared with Andrea last year by clicking here.)

I'm really excited about this new sewing machine, so much that I've decided to learn a few new ways to quilt my little projects, rather than my basic stipple. My first experiment was on a little piece I'd pieced using a 'Lovely' mini charm pack last year. I really ventured out of my comfort zone and added a little curlicue into the meander. Cute? I'm happy with it! And now, on to another challenge...
