Our long term Japanese student, Kyoka, will fly home tomorrow to Japan for the rest of the summer. She'll be back for the start of the new school year and we'll pick her up on September 2nd... my birthday! We'll miss her birthday in August and so we thought that a sayonara/happy birthday supper would be fun. And hey, any reason to celebrate with food is always a good thing, right?
BBQ'd teriyaki veggie and pineapple kebobs. Corn on the cob. Caesar salad. Teriyaki chicken. And did I mention the veggie kebobs?
