Yarrow Days...

Hmmm, doesn't the saying go something like this... "the family that creates together, goes to markets together"? Anyway, that's what it felt like this past weekend and it was so fun!

My dad, both my girls, and I split two booth spaces and shared our wares at Yarrow Days on Saturday and really had a lot of fun! My mom and sister were there for the day too (and one of Emily's friends) to keep us company and help man the tables - thanks Ladies! - and despite some awfully iffy weather, it was a really fun day. Some pics...

At the end of the day, I had sold a large purse (which was my 'big' sale of the market), my girls each came home with only two of their handmade angry birds and sock monkeys... awesome!, and my dad paid for his part of the space, with change. It was his first market so hopefully he won't be discouraged and will join us again! After all, since the fish are always bound to bite, the customers eventually will too!

Looks like a lot of fun! I hope to do some craft shows in the next year or two with some of our older kiddos...when my littlest guy is older (he's a needy 7 month old and I'm thoroughly enjoying it!).

Very cool! A great idea, sharing a table like that. And so glad your kids could make some coin too. How old are they? I think my kids and I could do that too in a few years! Exciting!
