my Tuesday timeout...

I finished up a special order yesterday and it felt wonderful to stitch the last button in place!

These sweet cherry clutch purses are headed to Slippery Rock, Pa for a wedding next year.

This clutch is for the Maid of Honor, and the two little keyrings are for the flower girls...

Did you notice I used two slightly different fabrics for the project? Yep, a huge thank you goes out to my sewing buddy, Andrea, for coming to my rescue when my supplies fell a little short. The bride was wonderful, and since it was a "can you make me a bunch of these out of this fabric?" kind of request, we made it work.
But, having never met her, I have a feeling she's really sweet like that. Just like cherry pie.
