in praise of the pindot...

My most favorite fabric of all times is something that I'm sure a lot of people wouldn't regard as being as lovely and versatile as I do... a simple red-with-white-pindots print. It's one of those goes-with-everything staples that I reach for again and again. Here's proof...
Kind of like a "Where's Waldo" game, isn't it?
Sorry if there are duplicates (although I think I did pretty good!) There were a LOT of pictures to go through to make these collages and I probably missed some! I know for a fact I have a couple more pieces with the pindot in them that have not been photographed yet!
I love how well it works with collections such as Flurry, Bliss, 12 days of Christmas, Reunion, Ruby, Oh Cherry Oh, Chloe's Closet and other 30's reproduction prints... and these are just a few off the top of my head! Yay for versatility!

Do you have a favorite go-to fabric?

Fun!! I love little dots too, have used them a number of times myself. So do you have a bolt of this stuff or what?

Are those the Ruby dots? I have a couple yards of the blue with gray...which are my go-to colors...love them! And I love the way you've used them, they look great!

I am more of a full polka dot girl, but will go with anything that pleases my eyes at that particular moment... It was nice to meet you today at the flea market! I have already cut into one of the pieces of fabric you sold me!

I have to say that you can NEVER go wrong with a well placed pin dot or polka dot for that matter, and when they are red......well that's always a good thing!

Hahaha...you have me wanting to hunt my pindot out of my stash and sew with it! So true - and look how busy you have been! You put me to shame! ;)
