I stitched the quilt top back in the summer, but didn't know how I should quilt it...
Rather than give it an allover stipple, I left the 9 patch blocks unquilted and thought that an old fashioned tie would add to the sweetness. I think I was right.
Oh, I'm just so close to finishing this little pretty off... like a yummy strawberry sundae, I can almost taste it!
Too bad I ran out of thread and can't quite finish it tonight.
But tomorrow's another day... and it's one step closer to strawberry season!

this quilt is just too adorable...love it!
It's so adorable; I love it! I just tried my first free-motion quilting on a runner today...boy, was THAT a disaster! My stitch length was all over the place but I pushed on through it and convinced myself not too look too closely at it. Guess I need to practice some.
Hugs,
Pam
Charming quilt with yummy springlike fabrics. Thanks. It's inspiring! I'm thinking of a knot dress for my 3 yr. old granddaughter's birthday is just the project for a snowy winter day today! You got me going!
Very cute! I love the colors!
