It was a short timeout today. Short but sweet. Short in that I had a dentist appointment in the morning and got a late start with my sewing. (I'm now accepting both prayers and donations.) Sweet in that it was spent with a wonderful friend. And for that, I am thankful. Now on to the pictures...
"Granny Goes to Market" is coming along nicely. Isn't she lovely? She's ready for sashing and then I'll have fun with the outer borders. I found a ton of fruit and veggie prints along the same lines as the ones I used in the blocks. The biggest challenge will be deciding which ones to use. I'm planning on four different prints to really bring out the farmers market vibe. Fun? I think so! Think plain sashing and narrow inner border, then a bit wider for the outer prints...
My favorite block... the little 'shrooms of course! Aren't they adorable?
Oh, and I was serious about the prayers. In a week or so, I'm gonna need them.

Sweet quilt....can't wait to see it with the sashing and borders! The plan sounds great!
Good luck next week at the dentist! Hopefully quick and painless!
I feel your "pain" about the dentist visit... my last check-up led to $$$ and lots of visits. :( Hope everything goes well for you...

This is awesome! Makes me want to start a quilt!
This is such a fun quilt! Love it :) Sending prayers your way for your Dental visit. I am not a fan of the dentist myself.
