Last night we fondued, and gamed, and laughed the year away with my parents...
Of course, I didn't make it quite to midnight, but I did hear the fireworks while snuggled in my nice warm bed. I think that's the best way to ring in the New Year!
And now that the Christmas season is officially over in our home, it's clean-up day. Tomorrow we have a young girl from Korea coming to stay with us for six weeks, so we want to start out with a fresh clean start. The three girls will head back to school on Tuesday and then it's business as usual around here. And by "business" I mean it's time for "my Tuesday timeout" to start up again, of course! Yay for routine!

Happy New Year to you as well! You've inspired me to find my 1970's fondue set. Looks yummy and I remember the fun of nibbling. Thanks for a nice post.
Thanks for inviting us for New Years Eve. Time spent with family is time well spent.
