sayonara Midori...

We had a very sad morning to wake up to today... after two weeks with us, Midori is on her way home to Japan. We had such a wonderful time with this girl and it honestly will be very quiet around here until we get back into the swing of things. We tried hard to keep her busy here in Canada and I think she had a good time... we picked blueberries, taught her to play cribbage and then played lots and lots of cribbage, we shopped, hung out at the beach, went out for dinner, stayed in for dinner, played badminton, went to a wedding and a birthday party, created scapbooks, crafted with felt, brought her to our church, watched Harry Potter and raced on Mario Cart... whew, I'm tired just remembering it all!

Thank you for staying with us Midori! We really loved having the chance to get to know you and we'll miss you very much!

I am sorry for your loss. I just wanted to say though, WOW on your picture of the chairs. I was literally stopped by it's simplistic beauty. Truly, I would have not stopped, yet I saw it and WOW.great choice. That's all I wanted to say. Good job
