I'm in awe of my blogging friends...

Something I did last night while the house was quiet was to just sit and look around my living room. From my vantage point, I saw 11 things that made me smile. In this one room alone, there are 11 gifts that I've received from my blogging friends in the past couple of years. There's a candle mat, stitcherie, and pumpkin from Char, a wall quiltie from Jo-Anne, a fabric covered box from Marie, a crow and sunflower filled jar from Tammy, three l'il pumpkins from Gina, a saltdough pineapple from Colleen, a wooden saltbox house from Kindra, and two prim quilties from Julie. Isn't that amazing? But the other rooms in my house aren't empty either... I can think of a doily from Marie in my bedroom, a gratitude banner from Gina in my sewing room, a set of tin canisters from Lisa also in my sewing room, a wall quilt from Rhonda at the base of my stairs, a pedestal recipe holder from Janene in my dining room, and a cookie cutter from Kim in my kitchen. And then there's all the seasonal gifts that have been put away until next year, like the ornaments, gloves, pillows, saltdough bowl fillers, candle melts, and table runners. Can you imagine how overwhelming it was to realize how surrounded by love and friendship I am every day? Life's been more than crazy for us lately, with lots going on. I'm just so thankful for the prayers and kind words offered after my last post... I truely am in awe of my blogging friends!
