make-do cookies...

Tonight my girls will go to a gym night for Junior Youth, and I volunteered to send a snack along. I thought chocolate chip cookies might be good... everyone likes chocolate chip cookies, right? So, like Old Mother Hubbard, I went to my cupboard only to find less than a cup of chocolate chips. Hmmm... oatmeal raisin cookies? Even less raisins on hand. Raisins and craisins mixed? My girls would like that, but how about the other kids? Another hmmm... and a 'what to do?'...Anyway, here's the end result... instead of just plain chocolate chip cookies, they're chocolate chip-raisin-craisin-skor bit-coconut-oatmeal cookies. And I think that about covers all the potential cookie bases! (No recipe... they're literally made from what I had on hand!)

I hope you're having a great day! We've got some wonderful sun and lots of spring color... much better than the typical April showers!
