I guess slow & steady is better than not at all...

I'm telling you, this darn quilt is almost getting the best of me! Today I did so little on it... it's really embarassing to admit. But, here goes... the 2" squares bordering the cottage and orangy house are all that I accomplished! Pretty sad, I know, although every little bit helps (or so I keep telling myself!) But hey, I did have to choose my 2 1/2" square colors and any scrappy quilter knows how long that little chore can take!

I'm impressed.....the beauty of this is worth the "slowness".

Phew!! I was wondering when I would get to see the quilt today :)!! Anything scrappy takes longer than we think to put together. Fun--but time consuming!!

By-the-way, I will mail our swap tomorrow. I had it ready to go today, but I subbed at the elementary and ran out of steam to take it to the post office after school. Have a great day. Julie

It's coming along and looking great. Anything I do that involves the scrappy look takes me twice as long.

Slow and steady seems to be my crafting pace too these days. Glad to know I'm in good company.

Your quilt is looking fabulous, Kimberly! Keep at it ...

It's looking like home to me... hang in there... it'll be worth it upon completion.
