Would a block by any other name...

...make a quilt feel exactly the same? I'm not sure.

'Shoo Fly'

'Friendship Star'

'Flying Geese'

'Log Cabin'

'Nine Patch'

'Saw Tooth Star'
But I do know that when they're all sewn together just so, it doesn't really matter what they're called.
The outer borders and centre embroidery are still to come, and then the quilting and binding. But for now, I think I'll just leave it on my living room floor so I can stare at it a little longer.
Oh, and by the way, there are 420 pieces of fabric in this quilt top... so far.

It looks amazing! You inspire me so!
Just read your previous post and yes, I know what you are talking about-sometimes the feeling of being out of depth overwhelms me! Then I have to hand it all back to God-it seems over and over and over again. I loved your thoughts.
