so if it's better to give than to receive...

...how come Robyn and I were so thrilled to receive these handmade beauties?













Because they were made by 12 year old Emily, of course! (there's even a chunk of wood in 'his' tool belt, and a quilt block in 'her' apron...)

And now that it's a whole new year, we're finally able to enjoy this calendar, made by 10 year old Julianna...
~you know something, I wouldn't trade my girls for anything!~

Great gifts. The girls outdid themselves this year. I`m really enjoying my "rock" flower garden Em painted and can hardly wait to put together the jigsaw puzzle Julianna created. Maybe tonight is the night.
