she done good

It's never hard for me to hear other parents tell about their kids' achievements, because I often find myself doing it too...
In October, Emily was chosen as MEI Middle School's Student of the Month. She knows that one of the nominating teachers was her art teacher and for her, that really struck a chord. She is an amazing young artist, one that's improving with each project. Her writing skills floor me, and she's won awards and a spot in two publications because of her talent. Even math isn't quite as daunting for her as it once was. Last night Robyn and I accompanied Emily to an awards evening where she was presented with a beautiful Student of the Month plaque... and (to her dismay) the chance to do a little public speaking.

What can I say? She done good.

Congratulations, Emily... "She done Good"
I had to laugh at your title for her. My mom has always said that too and she was a teacher.
